Question about Brother IntelliFAX 565 Plain Paper Film Fax
Hi, If you receive a fax with blank pages , nine times out of 10 the answer is that the sender fed one or more of the sheets into the fax machine upside down or backward (make sure the faxes they send are face down in the feeder, if you can read what you are sending they will be sent blank). You can confirm that this is what happened by noting whether the header (lines of sender information) is present.
You could also be experiencing a technical or mechanical problem, such as a need to fix or change parts. You can test whether your machine can print at all by using its "copy" function, or print an activity report. If all is well on your end, the problem must be with the sender's machine.
If, by any chance, you're using an old thermal fax machine, check to see if the roll of paper has been put in backward, because if that's the case the heads won't print on the side that isn't heat-sensitive.
It may be a cartridge problem but more likley a laser problem which will require a service engineer.
