Turns off 5-10 mins after turned on

It turns on fine and we just moved it into a new room today... after 10 mins or so, the receiver turns off and the phase control symbol blinks.. i can turn it back on but it does the same thing 10 mins later. It is only a year old and pretty darn expensive. What can i do to fix this?

I have checked my connections and it turned out to be a short in one of my tower spearker wires. My system works fine now and pounds like it used to.

One thing to check would be the speaker connections. If this receiver worked before you moved it and only started doing this after it was moved, that could be the source of the problem.
If the speakers are connected improperly it could cause it to go into protect mode after a few minutes.
Also check the speaker wires and make sure you don't have any frayed wire sticking out and touching the chassis of the reciever or shorting together.
The phase control symbol is something I would need to research, I have repaired several of these recievers and do not remember the phase control ever being a problem.
Logic would dictate that something is connected wrong, my first thought is the speakers, but it could be something else. I would go back over every single connection on the back of this unit and double and triple check them all. make sure the positive speaker connections are going to the positive speaker post and negative to negative.
It is also easy to connect the speakers to the wrong jacks on the reciever. You may be bridging a channel or two and that would cause the reciever to get hot very fast and shut down.
If none of this helps you may just have to take it in to a service center. I would reccomend an authorized Pioneer service center. They can at least call Pioneer tech support and talk to Mark, Bernie, or Mike at Pioneer. They are on top of all things Pioneer.

I will be happy to help you further if you need it.

Yamaha HTR-5063 is connected with new LG smart TV with HDMI. Today no picture or sound on TV. How to fix it ?

First, you need to identify which box the problem is in. Does the TV work with other inputs? If not, problem in TV. If it does, then the problem is in the Yamaha.
Once you know where the problem is, you can proceed to fixing what's broken.

Denon DRA-335R turns off or changes the source or radio station

I have the exact same problem with my Denon 1600 receiver. I bought the receiver 3 weeks ago and I've been trying to solve this problem ever since. The guys in the "Magnolia" room at Best Buy said it might be a defective receiver, or maybe the receiver is not compatible with my Brighthouse cable box. I think I might swap out the receiver this weekend to see if that solves the problem.

I have the same problem

no mention of speaker wire size or length but the internal thermal shut down circuit is very sensitive, if even one channel goes into thermal protection it shuts the unit down, quick fix is cans of compressed air for computers and clean the inside of dust the factory set thermal cut off is 39.1 to 43 degrees celcius with an impedence check of not less than 4 ohms, your fan trick sounds like the right start the volume setting is not absolute there fore it may be your units actual voltage, amperage wattage conversion output is at its limit, heat is electronic death take great care to avoid heat, large amps have massive heat sinks your sony is not one of them

HK AVR25 MKII goes on and off numerous times on cold power up

The relay on the PWR SUPPLY board clicks once when the PWR switch is turned on then 2 to 5 sec. later it clicks again and 'off' it goes.
The small transformer ( standby power) on the board appears to be leaking crud (looks like wood glue) all along one edge.
Can I bypass this relay to see if the power transformer is 'ok'?
