Audio problem

one way means the other or yours... if the problme is yours i.e., if the other cant hear you .. then goto control panel, sounds and audio devices--> device volume --- u can see advanced tab there ..u click that then the volume adjustment panel will open..look for the microphone option..there u increase ur microphone volume or click advanced and select the option there--the option is about microphone boost...select that and then goto sound recorder in Start- all programs - accessories --entertainment then u check whether recording is happening or not..if yes then adjust the audio settings in msn ...it will work

Hey, webcam problems

e cause of a Web Cam's microphone to stop working can be either a hardware issue or a result from incorrect configurations. Recommendations:
Determine whether it is a hardware problem by testing the microphone in Sound Recorder.

  1. Click "Start," > "Programs" ("All Programs" for Windows XP) > "Accessories" > "Entertainment" > "Sound Recorder."
  2. Click the Record button and speak into the microphone of the camera. You should see the green line move, indicating the application is picking up sound.
  3. Click the Stop button.
  4. Click the Play button. If there is no sound at playback, check to make sure the correct device is selected.
    1. Click "Edit," then "Audio Properties."
    2. Make sure Logitech is listed as the Preferred device for "Sound recording."
We also recommend using the camera on another USB enabled system.
If you can record sound in Sound Recorder, but not in the QuickCam application, try setting the Logitech Microphone as the Preferred device in Audio Properties.
Additional Information:
Multimedia keyboards that have the ability to control your computer volume may have software that can interfere with your webcamera's sound. If you have a Multimedia keyboard with volume control, the keyboard's software may need to be uninstalled in order for the camera's microphone to work properly in Windows.

Audio on Webcam is distorted - seems to be recording at a slower speed and palying back at normal spped

as a workaround you can use the headset, you just need to configure your messenger again to use the sound from the mic input instead from the webcam.
