The KSD1 is an thermo switch.
the data 150/0 meens: 150°C to open the contact and 0°C to colse the contact.
if the switch contact is open you have to cool it down to 0°C.
then the switch contact will close again and the microwave oven will work again.

Where did you get your information?? while it is true that "KSD" is a general designation for components similar to this , specific to manufacturers & suppliers in China, it can be DANGEROUS to assume the marking 150/0 means that the contacts open at 150 deg C ( 302F ), AND that IF you somehow cool this component to ) C, the contacts will reset.

IF such a device opens, it means that there was an "interruption" in the electrical circuit. This is in the appliance as a "safety " , to shut off electrical current to an appliance. usually there is something else wrong with the appliance that caused this component contacts to open.

And yesterday I have model SMH9187 & yesterday heard a beep with Code SE on Keypad The next day I plugged it in and it no longer appeared after resetting the clock....everything works... Is it safe...

SE means you have a shorted membrane keypad.

If and when an oven is coming on or doing anything by itself, this is very dangerous and can result in a fire.

So until it is repaired, please leave it unplugged or leave the door open when it's not in use, and please do not leave it running unattended.

I would need to know your full model number with suffix (from the tag) to give you more info, such as DIY info, part sources, estimate, etc.

Feel free to contact me here with that model number.

How to install led display

Disconnect from any power source. Remove the outer case. Press to open the door and just beneath the open button there is a self tapping screw holding the front unit down and in the slots. Remove the screw. Remove the plugs making a note of where they all came from! (A mobile phone camera is very handy for this job).
The panel assembly will come away from the chassis now.
Unscrew the display panel and disconnect.
Fit and connect the new panel, re fit the assembly and connect the plugs, refering to your drawing/photo.
Replace the screw after fiddling around for a while getting the mechanism in the correct place.
Fit the outer case and test with 1/2 litre of water. Measure the temperature of the water in the beaker. Heat on full microwave power for 1 minute. Check the temperature.
For your machine the temperature rise should exceed 9 degrees Celcius. If it does, you have a safe microwave cooker.
Hope this helps.

On the inside top right side of the microwave there was a cardboard cover held on by 4 corner points. The cardboard has fallen out now as it has come unsecured from the points holding it in place. Is it...

That's the waveguide cover.

If your waveguide cover is burned or damaged, it will need to be replaced.

It provides critical protection for the magnetron.

You should be able to get Galaxy parts from the Sears site.

To find helpful exploded view diagrams and get part numbers, you can just enter your full model number at the Sears parts site.

A full Galaxy/Sears/Kenmore model number has 3 digits, a dot, then 8 more digits, such as ###.########

Instruction book in English for Family Chef model FT 338 Purchased in France this week by English family.

It seems there is no English language instruction book for the Wirlpool microwave FT 338. However, the nearest UK equivalent is the FT 337, and the only difference is the lack of the "Crisp" plate.
I suggest you download the FT 337 instruction book in English from the Wirlpool.Uk website, and also the FT 338 insytruction book in French from the same source, which means you only need to translate a few lines of French into English to have the full instructions.

Don't know if magnetron has burned out

You can find links to part ordering help here.

I'd recommend that your bookmark this link to your favorites.

You should remove or replace the melted part and try the oven with a cup full of water in it.

If it arcs & sparks, the magnetron and/or waveguide may be damaged.

If it runs fine, you may get lucky and only have to replace the part that melted.

We may have the full service manual at our site which you can view and download free. But we would need to know that all-important model number.

Please note that FixYa is not currently notifying us Experts when Clarification Requests are answered.

To allow us to help you effectively (at no charge), please post a
NEW problem to FixYa, and please include your brand name and the full model number from the tag in or on the unit, and your detailed symptoms.

Paint off inside top of microwave exposing metal. Safe to use?

It would be dangerous to do so. Any exposed metal inside a microwave is source for sparks and is extremely hazardous. I would recommend getting the paint job done up, or even better, buy a newer model.

I need to replace my maytag mmv5000 microwave door assembly

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screws you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.
