Question about Whirlpool WFW8300SW
I am thinking of purchasing a less than one year old used whirlpool duet sport front loader washing machine for 350.00 . seems like a machine that would work for me, however i dont want to waste my money on a machine that has known issues . should i keep looking for something else?
You have to ask yourself how much is the warranty worth to you. You normally have a 12 months warranty because if the machine is going to develop a fault, it will usually be in the first few months of use.
Saying that, some brands just don't last that long. The ones that do are expencive to buy in the first place.
So to answer your question, if you are getting it for half price of new, then yes I would go for it. If in the event something does go wrong, a repair will still be cheaper than a similar new unit, so you haven't lost out on the deal.
If this provides the info you need, Please spare a moment to rate as Fixya! Thanks.
