Question about Chamberlain Powerdrive PD422D 1/2 HP Security Plus Screw Drive Garage Door Opener
My garage doesn close all the way down without holding the botton switch until it close the garage..the other sensor color is orange and the other is green i try to reposition the orange light color still it not change the color to green.pls give me some advice..thanks
The colour on the sensors doesn't change.
One is orange constantly and the other is green when detecting a signal from the orange sensor.
If the green is flickering, they are not adjusted correctly.Move the green sensor until you get a good solid green. Holding the wall pad button down, just bypasses the sensors.
Try adjusting only the sensors so that they are solid.
In addition, check the little yellow light on the back of the machine and count the flashes.
The number of flashes will tell you what the error is in your manual.

WHEN HOLDING IT DOWN MAKES THE DOOR CLOSE PROPERLY THE PROBLEM IS IN THE SAFETY EYES.
CHECK FOR A LOOSE OR BROKEN WIRE.
ARE THE EYES WIRED CORRECTLY?
ARE THEY AIMED AT EACH HOLDING DOWN THE WALL BUTTON OVERRIDES THE SAFETY EYES.
