SOURCE: How do I remove the wet end of the pump from the

Take the screws off the outer cover fo the wet end. That will expose the impeller.
At the other end of the pump is a small metal cap in the middle. Pry that off with a screwdriver. That reveals the shaft of the motor which has a slot in it. This allows you to hold the shaft still with a large screwdriver.
While someone holds the shaft with a big screwdriver, you rotate the impeller counter clockwise to unscrew it off the motor shaft.
In my case the impeller was so caked onto the shaft with rust that we could not loosen it. We broke the impeller and still could not unscrew it. The screwdriver keeps jumping out of the slot in the shaft.
So the next step was to take the shaft out of the motor. On the far end of the motor are 4 small looking bolt heads. Undo those. They go right through the motor into the 4 legs of the wet end.
Stand the motor up with the wet end up. Pull hard to pull the wet end motor cover off the motor and you will then have the wet end and armature of the motor in your hands. Heavy.
Place some wood into a large vice and then grip the big silver part of the armature in the vice. Then unscrew the impeller.

When driving my truck does not coast smoothly when my foot is not on the gas pedal2010 nissan

Hi there, I'm Al the owner of Big As Auto Repair

When a vehicle doesn't coast properly it can be several things that can cause it. There could be a possible brake issue, in other words there could be a caliper sticking and causing the brakes to slow the vehicle down. There could be a transmission issue, trans issue's can cause all sorts of problems and reason why the vehicle will not coast properly. If you know someone that's mechanically inclined that can jack each one of your wheels off the ground and move the wheel by hand and se if it is locking up, if you find one locking up then it could possibly be that caliper sticking are could simply be corrosion build-up where the brake pads slide on the bracket. What size o rings do I need for the pump on my 2000 coast spa?

Hi,

If you're talking about the O-rings that are on the pump unions you will need to measure your pump.

Measure the diameter of the thread on the pump...
1.5": Pump thread measures approx. 2-3/8" O.D.
2.0": Pump thread measures approx. 3" O.D.
2.5": Pump (intake) thread measures approx. 3-5/8" O.D.

Any reputable hot tub dealer should be able to supply you with O-rings if you tell them what size unions your pump has. The most common is 2".

Kind Regards,
Ian.
