Question about Dryers
Formula for cleaning a tower fan:
1 back yard, 1 leaf blower, 1 extension cord if leaf blower is electric, 1 face mask, 1st pass from front to rear, 2nd pass from rear to front. Repeat until no dust in either direction. That's how the dust got in there, that's how you get it out!!! No tools required.

Good Luck!! I too have one and although I was able to take off a bottom panel and clean it- the important area (fan) proves quite inaccessable. I am very mechanically adept too. Either way felt it was a lot of trouble for nothing- so I used a powerful vacuum blower to blow out all the dust instead. When these fans can be purchased for 50 bucks, new, at Cost Co, it sort of eliminates the need to get real carried away with maintenance.
