Good day,
I don't know what you mean by "clip". But here's a breakdown, on removing the cabinet. It is made by
Whirlpool. The clip is not necessarily about what you want to do but shows you how to gain access to the mechanical parts of the machine.

I recently replaced the transmission, it now runs/agitates and spins but does not complete the spin cycle leaving the clothes wet. When th Spin only cycle is selected it does not engage

Replace the lid switch. Many models such as kenmore and whirlpool use mechanical
switches and they crack. The wash will still function but the spin will not function
correctly. (The socket is located under the control panel which hinges back after
removing the two corner screws) There are 2 philips screws and a 5/16 hex screw
holding the switch in. The 5/16 is a bummer to get to under the top of the machine.
The wiring is in a plastic channel clipped onto the chassis under the top panel.
Tilt the drum towards you to make access easier. Hope this helps

We have a Kenmore Series 80 Top Load washing machine. The problem we have is that after it washes the clothes, it won't spin. Can we fix it?

Sure you can fix it. I suspect you have a broken lid switch. To repair it you flip up the controls. Unplug the lidswitch. Pop the S-clips and remove the case. You can now replace that lid switch. If it turns out to be ok you might want to look inside the pump for objects that can lock it up. If it is locked up the tub will not spin. Why? Because the pump is mounted directly to the motor. If it pumps but don't spin then look for a broken drive coupling. None of this stuff is difficult to repair. I have videos of all these fixes and a service manual HERE.

Kenmore 80 series model 110 after wash clothes are left soaking

when empty and off, open the lid and see if you can rotate the inner wash basket by hand. if you can easily, then the clutch is worn. This will prevent the basket from going into a high spin and wringing the clothes out. Replace the clutch by removing the top control panel, removing the clips that hold the cabinet, pull cabinet off, remove drain pump clips and pump, remove motor clips and motor, remove transmission (3 bolts). Now you will have access to the clutch, replace as needed, reverse dissasembly to complete. remember to unplug.

Admiral washer, spins too slow so clothes are still soaked

The clothes being wet and the drum spinning slow are probably due to a worn belt, tilt the machine back and the belt can be removed and replaced from below with no tools.

If the machine is constantly filling with water the level pressure switch requires changing. Isolate the machine, use a knife or thin bladed tool and insert between the front panel and the top panel approx 4" from each side to release the clips, the top should lift up, the pressure switch i at the back LH side, you will see a small pipe attached to it from lower down the drum, replace the pressure switch pull off the terminals and the hose and replace using the same order of connections.

Won't Spin

CHECK TO SEE IF SMALL CLIP ON BOTTOM OF PULLEY HAS FALLEN OFF. IF CLIP FELL OFF, THE PULLEY MIGHT OF SLIDE DOWN AND MOTOR SHAFT IF SPINNING. PUSH PULLEY UP AND ON END OF SHAFT ARE NOTCHES WHERE CLIP SLIDES ON. GE RECOMMENDS YOU REPLACE IT. MACHINE NOT LEVEL OR CLOTHES NOT BALANCED PROPERLY CAN CAUSE CLIP TO FALL OFF. HOPEFULLY THIS INFO HELPS.

Maytag atlantis washer not spinning

I had the same problem.  Try this:  The top of the washing machine has a rear cover that protects the rotary switch, should be 6 screws holding the panel on.  Directly behind the switch that allows you to set the spin cycle is of course the the switch.  The very top of the switch has a clip on/snap on wiring harness.  Make sure the machine is unplug while you are performing any of this.  Make sure the wiring harness is completely snapped in to the switch.  Over time your machine causes the harness to get loose.  Specifically when you overload the machine and is unbalanced during the Spin Cycle. If you are not comfortable with this process see professional help.
I hope this helps you.
