Color light will not go out

I have an epson stylus colour 880 printer.
I replaced the printer cartridge with a new one.
The red light won't go out.
Tried to do a nozzle check and clean the printing heads.
These are stuck in the printing que.
The printer will not print

I fixed the problem by replacing both print cartridges with new onesI think that the other cartridge was empty, even though it did not inicate it.

I am having the same problem. I have replaced both color and black ink and yet my printing folder says I have 2 documents waiting to be printed and yet the printer won't print. The red light continues to stay on. I'm so frustrated.

Epson Color Stylus 880 not printing, blank pages only

With some printers they need to be the recommended brand of ink cartridge. Are you using Epson's own cartridges? If not might be worth changing to them. It sounds as though the issue is with the cartidges and not the printer itself. Hope this helps.

Epson stylus 880 printer

"Turn the printer on while holding down both the ink and paper buttons. When the paper light flashes release both buttons", then hold down the ink button for approx. half a minute until the printer lights flash again then release it. That resets the printer.”
