Personally, I wouldn't mess around with a monitor. You can get seriously hurt by taking it apart. But .... since you have already opened it and found the bad card, try eBay. I have found a lot of parts there for reasonable prices.

PC turns on and fans blow screen will not come on

I had the same problem with my computer. This one is kind of a hard one because it requires a little trouble shooting(If you don't have extra parts to swap to trouble shoot, it can be hard). I couldn't find the answer anywhere online for this. I found it was that my power supply was to weak to run all my stuff and two monitors. This may or may not be the case for you.

Check these:
Monitor may be broken
Mother Board broke
Video card failure
Power supply too weak

I hope this helps, good luck.

I just have a OPTIPLEX SX280 and try to connect to my old montor (VGA), when I turn on power it seem run starting but the it show up on monitor screen "can not display video mode". What is that...

When you first power on the computer tap the <F8> key to bring you to a menu that has the option of running in safe mode. If the computer boots up in safe mode and you are able to see the display on your monitor then your current video drivers are not supported for the old monitor.

Ok when i turn on my aoc monitor colors like blue green red white pop up i can never use my desktop

I would suggest that you try another monitor. If the monitor continues to light up with these colors and you do not see your computer desktop, then I would tend to think that your computer may have a problem with the video card or driver. Do you get a message on your montor with words like "no connection" or "No signal". If so, this means that the monitor is getting no video signal from you desktop. Try disconnecting your monitor plug and removing power from the monitor in an attempt to reset the monitor. Try also to turn off and unplug your computer. Leave the computer unplugged for about 10 minutes and start it up again. This may reset your computer. If you monitor video cable will disconnect from the monitor, you may want to get a new cable. These cable do go bad sometimes and are available and inexpensive on Ebay.com

Try these ideas and let me know how you do.

LOOKING FOR NEW OR REBUILT SCANPORT N7 (M17FBA) OR SOMEONE TO SERVICE THIS ITEM

The best thing is to look for broken ones on ebay and recycle the parts to get the 6 you have working again.

You may also want to try parts.com if you can get the part numbers.

Comp not reading montor

It sounds like the on board video has failed. I would try installing a video card on the motherboard. Then in the bios at start up, disable the on board video, so it will use the video card instead.

I hope this helps and thanks for using FixYa,

Eric
