it depends on the type of enclose you are building and number of drivers .. you can build them and share air space or build it to were neither sub shares any air space.. if you buy a prefab enclosure for your 15s what ever q logic or q power or any other manufacture choses to build a universal port or vent or sealed box will be just fine. which type of enclosure are you looking for .. port vented seal isobaric
For optimal performance there is really only one size for the box .Firstly, you get two different types of subwoofers, an open air, or closed air sub. If it is an open air sub ( hole with mesh in the center of the magnet) no ports are required, and the box should be sealed on the inside with silicone sealant. If it is a closed air sub ( no hole in the magnet) you need a 50mm port about 120mm long. Box size will be 11 inches x 11 inches x 11 inches. Hope this helps
Well, 1.6 cubic foot for a 15 is not nearly enough. A ported box for 1 15 should be in atleast 3 cubes by itself. I suggest building a new box yourself or getting someone else to do it for you. If factory specs on those subs is no larger than 3 cubes per sub then I'd get the box built to 3 cubes per sub after all displacement and tune it in the upper 30's range. Putting big subs like that in a small sealed enclosure can and will damage a sub. and if you try to port an enclosure that is too small to begin with that will also hurt the woofer. Do it right or learn the hard way.
