When you plug in the memory card, you will get a new removable drive of your memory card "Right Click" on it and select "Format" option from the drop down and select "Quick Erase" and click OK.

After formatting the card you can store what you want in it.

Thanks.
Have a great day.

Camera won't record on SD card

SD cards have become the industry standard....but beware...there are SD cards NOT backward compatible...i.e.,some cams won't take 2GB or larger; then there is SDHC; SDHC(HD); RUNS FROM 512G thru 32GB HC/HD; ECT...check your cams manual for SD card compatibility.

"Card Full" error when the card is in fact empty...

I had the same issue, and ended up solving it after trying many different things. So first you put the card in your reader, right click, and hit "format...". It should ask you if it's ok to erase everything. Say yes.

Then put the card in the recorder, and it should say "Unformatted". Hit Utility and TR4 to Initialize. That should do the trick. Hope that helps!
