Can you explane your problem in more detail. We can resolve it, but what exactly cant you do? Can you receive and not send? If so, move the phone cord to the slot marked LINE not the one that says EXT or Phone. If you have a digital line, it will not work. An M15 requires an analogue line.
You have a good product there. let me help you get it working as you want it to,.
We put a usb cable from the xp computer to the workcentre. We left the Vista computer connected to the workcentre via parallel cable. Not the solution we were hoping for but it does enable us to print from both computers
At the very least it should send a fax, without doing anything at all, but having it plugged into a phone line. Are you sure the line is good? Does it have a, "on Hook mode" or a button to press to get a dial tone? Otherwise, plug a telephone in and make sure there is a dial tone. Also it could be the cord itself, or has somebody conected it to the wrong jack on the fax machine? These are the things I suggest to check.
Do not only lubricate metal shafts, but promptly lubricate the "pulleys" on the right and left side. the will look very similar to a wheek and pulley mechanism. The squeal happens when one "bar" connects two "wheels" and one side moves faster than the other.
Does it also leave the line when you make a copy? Lift the lid and make a copy cover up. If it is there on the copy then most likely your scanner needs to be cleaned. If it isnt there when you copy, let me know we will go from there.
