The link above is 17 days old. I've not heard from MacMarkus. Maybe he is on vacation. I've a dishwasher sitting inthe middle of my kitchen. When I put the motor back in and reconnected everything, I had a humming noise, but no water coming in. so I know the motor is working, but I also wanted to check the wire placement on the front of the dishwasher to ensure that I put the connectors in the proper placed. There's six places and three connectors.

Welcome to

I would be keen to know what additional information do you need on this problem. You already have the interaction going with another consultant on the other thread that you have referred.

Happy to help if you have a specific query which is not being answered from the previous link. It is only a day old.

Thats ok but i notice the other consultant has responded only a day ago and might be in the process of responding. I would leave this thread open for a day or so to give him a chance to respond to the previous thread. If he does not then I will try to help.

As he already has the understanding of the problem, he might be able to guide you better.

Looks like you are not having much luck on this one. Noticed you are trying to find the wiring connection of the motor with the terminal block.

I do not have any experience with replacing motors on this model of dishwasher. But these are pretty common for most of the dishwashers of that era.

Firstly please confirm the motor you have received is this one. Keep in mind these are OEM parts and may not have been the original that came with your dishwasher. Most importantly these are 120V components and if you are in US then it is ok. But not if in Europe. So confirm that first.

I would suggest you pass on the this thread into the other query and see if you get the consultant to respond. I cannot directly do that. I will monitor both threads. Always put your responses in the top part of the page (the area for client comments) and not next to the consultants comments section. That way I will be able to check what is going on.

Let us hope this works out.

Parts of that type might be hard to get for this model.

What does F2 mean

Hello, Welcome to FixYa. To answer your question..."What does F2 mean ?", the good news...It is likely nothing very serious, but the "resolve" requires some investigation on your part. F2 means the control has indicated a overfill. This is meaning the overfill switch is indicating an overfill has been detected. Whether the unit has actually overfilled or not remains to be seen. It may in fact have been caused by a long drain or backed up drain. I'm presently on my iphone so I can't post the pertinent info to resolve the error directly, however if you copy and paste this link to your browser all the info will be there and it will apply to your model Asko as well. Either that or visit my profile page and you'll see other post relating to the Asko F2 error, its meaning and remedy. Hope this helps, let me know and good luck. Regards, Macmarkus :)
