How many beeps? Which Lights? Blinking together or sequentially? These will help to determine the problem.

IBM Wheelwriter 6 Problem

The lights blinking indicates an error code, that mean a keyboard error or posibly a problem in the start up procedure. This is a problem that would have to be solved in a repair shop.
