The Panasonic system your DT phone plugs into has a master phone (usually extension 101). At the very minimum, it can change the system time. You also have the ability to let incoming phone calls set the system time If your minutes and date is correct and only the hour is wrong, then you probably have a CID offset problem from your connected phone lines or a DST to Standard time correction.

The time setting sequence is in the Operating Manual (OM) for your system and is usually Program **1234 and dial 000.

It's highly unlikely that your 321 phone is the MASTER phone in the system. System time is set from the phone, usually installed at extension 101, and it ought to be a DT-343 or higher model.

It's unlikely that the 321 is connected to extension 101 so there's not much you can do about the time from it.

Go to the 343 or 363 phone at ext 101 and press PROG and dial **1234 000. It's the time set command. Use your FWD button to get to the proper time and the ENTER command to save it.

Which one of the SIX "guidbooks" are you reading? A DT-321 is a lesser phone, really, and the Operations Manual (OM) says to set the time from the Manager's station. That won't be your 321. Usually extension 101 is always a master.

It depends on where the time is coming from. On a TDA/TDE/NCP system, you could have the CID set the time, then it comes from the dial tone supplier or it comes from programming the master phone. A 321 is not the control phone, so look for the phone connected to extension 101, probably the 343 or 363 set. From there, press PROGRAM and dial **1234. This should ask for a program number. Dial 000 and you're looking at the clock. Using the FWD, CONF, ENTER and NEXT buttons on the display, you can set the proper time.

If the time changes back the next morning, then you have a CID issue..

Press PROGRAM and the button twice (intercom or CO) then dial a number 01-30 or use the Navigator bar if you have one. The tones will change. 01 is the default, 21-30 or so are tunes.
