Sounds like something fell into the hole while the toilet was removed - maybe a teddy-bear? Remove the toilet and use a snake.

When I flush the water goes down but does not take the paper with it... Help!!! Called sani plus company and they don't know!!!

If the paper isn't flushing, that means it's got too much drag to be carried down with the water. You've got a few options here:

1) Use lower ply paper, as it will be easier to flush
2) Use less paper, or flush after each wipe
3) Improve your toilet to a high rate-of-flow toilet

What are the most common venting problems for toilets?

What all that means is the sewage pipe going to the street is getting clogged so either snake it with 50 foot snake or go buy so Drain-O (60 ounce bottle costs about $9) and pour 1/5 in toilet and wait 10 minutes then pout 1/5 in Bathroom sink & wait 10 minutes. Keep do that until 60 ounce bottle is empty. Let this stay in pipes for couple hours and your toilet will double flush now its clean with no corrosion, hair, cooking oil, and other debris.

I have both a dual flush and a conventional high eff. toilet. the water level on both are set on maximum. but the dual flush won't flush toilet paper in a single fluh. can i change out the complet

Why do you want to change it out just because it doesn't take paper out ? The problem is in your trap. Don't change it unless you just want to. I don't think you can change it over anyway due to design differences.

Why does my toilet occationaly overflow with no solid waste and just toilet paper

Not really. I believe there is a clog in the trap. This happened to us last year. I took the toilet up and found a cloth in the trap ad a pencil. This fixed the problem. Now some traps are poorly designed and meet only minimum specs. Before taking it up, take a hose and force water down it wide open , this could blast out the obstruction.

Flush is weakening. Toilet paper won"t flush

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

i dont think you have toilet issue,

Try this. take a large bucket, like a paint or home depot orange bucket. fill 1/2 way...
put some toilet paper in the toilet. Then pour the water in fast, and see how it flushes. it it does a easy flush then your drain is ok. if its slow, you have a drain issue and not the toilet.

if that the case, then goto the toilet, and clean out all of the little holes, that are around the unit.. where you see the water come out. they can be clogged up. a small type wire like a clothes hanger.

I have toilet with no visable clog but when I flush water fills the bowl and overflows? How do I fix

Something is stuck inside of the toilet. About the only way to get some of them out is to take the toilet up. Shut off water to the toilet and flush it one last time. You need to use a plunger and push all the water you can out of the bowl. Remove the bolts that hold it to the floor. Youll have a little left over water you'll have to clean up after this next step so get something to soak up water. It may be easier to remove the tank now than to take a chance on damaging the gaskets. Just going to have to turn the toilet over and over and over and see if something falls out into the bowl. To repair this damage you're going to have to clean off the wax ring (messy Job) and get a new wax ring. They're pretty universal 3 and 4 inch are the same. PUt the wax ring onto the bottom of the toilet then set it back over the bolts that hold it to the floor and tighten it back down. Replace the tank and tank gaskets if you took it off. When I fixed mine I found a AA battery inside. That was all it took to plug it up every time you flushed toilet paper.

My toilet only a few weeks old. It flushes fine

Sorry, but the only reasonable solution is to assume that the toilet was installed incorrectly and the wax seal misplaced. Or the sewer line is clogged. I would remove the toilet and take a look-see. A plumber could use a snake to check for obstructions.

New Koehler Cimmaron keeps clogging

Does it clog on the first flush or does it take a couple? If it clogs on the first then it could be that you have an offset closet flange. That means that when the home was built, the plumber who roughed in the plumbing made a mistake in where the drain went so when it was time to set the flange, it was too close to the wall or some other item in its way. The only thing that can be done is to jack hammer the slab and run a new drain at a less radical angle. If its not a slab, then it's easier to take care of but you will have get under the house or cut an access hole in the floor. If it takes a couple of flushes, buy what is called a "blow bag". Its a black rubber cylinder that you hook to a water hose. Push the bag down the drain as far as it will go and turn the water on and let it run for 15 to 20 minutes. It will flush out anything that will be in the drain. Also there could be a crack in the drain that is catching toilet paper. You might consider having someone with a camera come and look at the drain from the inside. Hopefully I have covered every possibility.
