High voltage problem on deflection board, you can try turning up the screen voltage on the focus block which is only a temporary fix. Eventually you will need to get a service center to repair the deflection board...... focus block is in the front of the TV you will have to remove the front cover bezel...

Check hori output and small blue high voltage capacitor 2k that feeds hori output transistor.
If these componets are OK then replace Both of the STK ICs they are big black ICs and will have PN# on them.example STK392-110.
Mats Electronics has ICs 1-800-628-1118
Encompass Parts Distribution has Free Service Manual for this Model# 57H94 you can print it out online.Go to their website.

I have a toshiba 57h94 and when i turn on the tv i can hear a clicking sound, but no picture comes on. also, you can still hear a fan blowing.

You may want to check and see if the lamp is bad. On the left lower side there is a lamp door.
there is usually a knob screw or a phillips screw that keeps it in place. Open the door, remove the retaining screws for the lamp and pull the lamp out. Most of the time it is shattered and easy to tell it is bad. There is a part number on the lamp housing. If you can not find one local to you call
1800-631-3811. This the Toshiba customer service line and you can order one from them. I would expect to pay around 175.00 and 200.00 for the lamp.
I hope this helps,

Cable

The Toshiba 57H94 will receive basic cable ( at least in my Time Warner area ) without a cablecard. I am not sure if other cable companies lock out even basic cable. I've never heard of it. Good Luck.

57h94

Not much help here. The Toshiba 57H94 is CRT based unit and does NOT have a lamp to burn out. CRTs rarely "burn out" - especially all three tubes at once. Not sure if there is a user-serviceable component, such as a fuse, that would correct this problem. Proceed with caution if you feel compelled to go inside the set. Very high voltages are present, even if the TV is unplugged. Unfortunately this sound like a service call issue.

Sound but ni picture

I dont think that TV has a bulb it uses CRT's

You cant get CRT's any more. Sounds like the capacitors in the power supply are week and are takign time to charge thats why it takes a while to get a picture.

Not worth fixing

Tv wont power up makes a noise but no picture

Your power transformer is likely shot. It'll cost at least $200 to have it replaced. Someone can come to your house to diagnose it. Usually costs around $65.
