Question about Whirlpool WFW8300SW
I am looking for an honest opinion of if this is a good washer to buy. I am a newlywed and student looking for an energy efficient front loader that will not break on us. I know it runs smaller loads but that is not an issue for me.
I have read so many reviews on front loaders and this one SEEms to have more good that bad. PLEASE HELP ME!!
Thank you so much in advance for your time and honesty
Hate my duet sport also! You cant presoak in this machine, very little water to wash with, very noisy, and everything stinks when it comes out of washer. Mine also smelled like mold but i figured out if you pull out the little tray that holds the detergent it is filled with stinky black mold. would never buy again

Don't buy it, mold in the front rubber seal and wow that detergent tray is disgusting! my gran-baby told me- (4 yr old) my laundry room smells gross, that is due to my expensive gorgeous HE washer!. sure looks nice but it stinks horribly, I opened the detergent tray and almost passed out!... that is just WRONG!.. pass on this machine

I have owned several washers and decided to buy a front loader due to the high cost of water where I live. To be honest i am not happy with this machine. My towels constantly smell like mildew. There is nothing worse then getting out of the shower and drying yourself with a mildewy towel. You never feel clean. I also have an issue with the clothes wringing out. You wait over an hour for a load to finish and then end up having to run it through another drain and spin cycle. What I save on water I loose in electricity. Not to mention it takes forever to do laundry. I definitely would not recommend this washer.

Horrible washer. I accidentally used non-HE detergent weeks ago, caught my mistake after a few loads but ever since am plagued with F-20 error codes about 90% of the time. Nothing is wrong with my water hoses, as most advice suggests. It's just temperamental. I hate it.
I thought getting a front-loader would be so efficient, not realizing how IN-efficient it is for electricity. The cycles are longer, the dryer doesn't dry so great, towels take forever, you can't wash small loads or they come out sopping wet no matter how many times you spin them and worst of all, I never realized you cannot soak items in the tub.
Huge mistake. Go with a decent top-loader.

The duet sport is made in mexico and also comes as the he2 from sears ..washer is just as good as the higher end duets and he models same basic operation and same configuration as about all front loaders except the lg and such which have no belt but are direct drive if money is an issue you may ck the electrolux line basic front loads and maybe a tad cheaper

Terrible washer. I am so fed up. Can't belive how much money I spent on a washer that is tenuous, at best. Works when it wants to. Am going to buy a Samsung as soon as possible. Hate to donate this machine so that some poor soul gets stuck with it.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!
