The RIGHT side of the keyboard has multiple labels on each key -- alphabetic and numeric.
Press the KEYPAD LOCK key to use the "keypad" layout.
Press the KEYPAD LOCK key again to use the "alphabetic" layout.

How do I change the font size


Hello,To change the font size, do the following: 1. Press the “Function” key 2. Press the “Left Arrow” or the “Right Arrow” key until the display shows “SIZE”. 3. Press the “Function” or the “Return” key. The current selected size setting is displayed and a triangle indicator pointing a sample of the character size above the display. 4. Press the “Left Arrow” or the “Right Arrow” key until the desired Size is displayed. * SIZE1 equals Standard Size. * SIZE2 equals Double Width. * SIZE3 equals Double Height. * SIZE4 equals Double Width & Double Height. * SIZE5 equals 4 x Width & Double Height. * AUTO, the machine will automatically adjust the characters to the largest possible size according to the width of the tape installed in the machine. using kayboard: Display the Start menu by pressing Ctrl+Esc (or the Windows logo key). Move to All Programs by pressing P. Move to Accessories by pressing the Down Arrow key and then Enter. Press Enter again to move to Accessibility. Move to On-Screen Keyboard by pressing the Down Arrow key and then Enter.Or using mouse: Display the Start menu by pressing Ctrl+Esc (or the Windows logo key). Move to All Programs by pressing P. My laptop keyboard not working normally, keys not display the keys i want to type, display the other character on the keyboard...my laptop model ASUS eee PC 1001


Hello,

This is because you have Num Lk activated.
To deactivate, hold down the Fn key and press NumLk (it's the same key as insert)

Now you will have the normal characters when typing.

When i try to display the at sign (@) this displays instead: (") can you please explain, thanks.


This is because keyboard layout might have changed.
Go to control panel and choose regional and language options and add a new keyboad and choose the language as english.
Also delete the existing keyboard.
press apply and ok.You may get a prompt stating that was not able to delete the cusrrent kayboard. just press ok and restart the system.The new keyboard layout will take effect only after you restart the sysem.

To change the font size, do the following:


1. Press the "Function" key

Storing a Number in Memory
1. Press the STORE button. ENTER TEL. NO. is displayed.
2. Use the keypad to enter the phone number. You can put spaces in the number and it will still dial correctly. To enter a space, press NEXT button.
• To scroll forward or backward, use NEXT (when the cursor is not at the end of the number) or REVIEW.
• To erase the current digit, press DELETE.
3. When finished, press STORE. ENTER NAME is displayed.
4. Use the keypad to store a name (up to 16 characters). More than one letter or character is available in each of the number keys. For example, to enter the letter "A," press the 2 key once. For a "B," press the same key twice. For a "C," press it three times.
• To add a space, press NEXT.
• To scroll forward or backward, use NEXT or REVIEW.
• To erase the current character, press DELETE.
5. When finished, press STORE. MEMORY LOCATION is displayed.
6. Press the memory location number (0-9 or A, B, C) to store the number.

To change a stored number you just follow the initial instructions, namely:

1. Press the STORE button. ENTER TEL. NO. is displayed.

2. Use the keypad to enter the phone number. If you

it will dial correctly.
• To scroll forward or backward, use NEXT or
PREVIOUS.
• To erase the current digit, press ERASE.

Try this. Memory The handset can store up to ten 24-digit numbers with up to 15-character names in memory for quick dialing. This memory feature is in addition to the CID memory log, which stores up to 40 CID records in the handset. Storing a Name and Number in Memory 1. Make sure the phone is OFF (not in TALK mode). 2. Press the mem button. 3. Press the desired memory location (0 through 9) or use Caller ID/vol (+ or to scroll to the desired memory location. NOTE: If the memory location is occupied, the memory location number and its contents show in the display. 4. Press the mem button again. The display shows ENTER NAME. NOTE: If you don?t want to enter the name, skip step 5. 5. Use the touch-tone pad on the handset to enter the name (up to 15 characters) and press the mem button to save. More than one letter is stored in each of the number keys. For example, to enter the name Bill Smith, press the 2 key twice for the letter B. Press the 4 key 3 times for the letter I. Press the 5 key 3 times for the letter L. Wait for one second. Press the 5 key 3 times for the second letter L. Press the 1 key to insert a space between the L and the S. Press the 7 key 4 times for the letter S; press the 6 key once for the letter M; press the 4 key 3 times for the letter I; press the 8 key for the letter T; press the 4 key twice for the letter H. 6.
