Good Day;
After a power outage it is best to 'reboot' the TV. Unplug the TV for 4-5 minutes from a/c outlet, wait, plug back in. Did not work?
It could be the main fuse, it will be located near the a/c cord on the TV's board. CATION!! After removing back of unit make sure the TV is unplugged from the a/c outlet and the fuse will be a glass fuse, ensure that it the correct value eg; 5 amp 250v.
Good Luck and Careful, Big Irish.

Not worth to fix.Either power supply,sensor or convertion board are too costly for the part.Buy a new TV.

I have a LG 32LX2R-ZE flat screen LCD TV, We've recently had a power cut and the TV doesn't seem to work, Cable is okay but there is no power getting to the TV. I havn't got the manual and i've heard that...

Hi,
I used to be a TV engineer many years ago, and I do not profess to know much about flat screen TV's.
I have just been asked to look at one of these which has suffered the same fate as yours.
It does have an internal fuse, but it is not a "normal" household fuse, it is a component fuse and you will need to be able to solder and de-solder to be able to fit one.
That said, the TV I have here, the fuse is OK, if I disconnect the PSU from the main board, the standby +5V recovers, suggesting the PSU is operational. Connect it back up and it drops, something is shorting out the +5v, which is why it will not switch on.
Without a diagram, this has become very frustrating, and Ithink I am going to have to give up,
Sorry it's not good news people!

Cheers
Shaun

I have a goodman LD3755HD TV tonight we had a power cut while the tv was on . now the power is back I cannot get the tv to turn on. Tried fuse, batteries in remote, all the usual. is there a reset button...

It could have blown the internal glass fuse/s on the power supply otherwise its a component on the power supply board. Failing that it would have to be in fornt of me lol. Good luck.

TV Won'T Turn On

A fuse is not your problem. this TV has a safty feture that when it senses a problem it cuts the power to prevent any fouther damage, when you un plug it the TV resets and it will turn on agian. I have the same TV Check the CRT light guns there are 3 of them. If one goes bad it will cause your problem.
