Question about HP Compaq nc6000 Notebook
This is likely to be as a result of your processor over-heating, maybe because of your
environment, or because the fan is not cooling the processor properly again.
Therefore my suggestion would be for you to unscrew your laptop (If you can do it by yourself),
and try to clean, or better still replace your processor fan.
Also clean the air-vent where air is supposed to enter the laptop
If you cant do it by yourself, you can easily get a technician to do it for you.
Also, remove all your RAM(Memory Sticks), and clean the tip of the connector with an eraser,
and re-insert it one after the other.
That is, if you have two of them, after you insert the first one, put on your system and see if it
works, then do the same thing with the other one.
If the two of them works, them insert the them all. but if it is just one that worked, just remove the
other one that is not working and replace it.
I have actually had the same case before, and after doing what I've just told you, it stopped
behaving like that.
Then always make sure that your laptop is in a well ventilated, cool environment and that the
environment is free from dusts.
Kindly let me known how it goes after you've tried this.
Hope this helps you out.
