Question about Muratec F320 Plain Paper LED Fax

The faxes we receive are not legible because one side of the fax is not printing and the toner is new. What can we do to fix the problem?

    The back spring is the side that isn't printing clearly. Thanks for the info and I'll ask what the work order.

Open the machine and remove the toner cartridge...on the RHS of the place where you install the cartridge you will see a sensor, and you should also see 2 flat shiny pieces of "spring" metal..one is toward the rear of the opening the other towards the front. These 2 pieces of spring metal are what push the toner cartridge forward evenly ; over time they get bent backwards a little bit and the pressure can become uneven between fron and back on the toner cartridge. Have a look at them you will probably see one appears to be bent back further than the other....you dont have to remove it...just reach in and bend back out a little the one that is back too far. Put the cartridge back in and make a copy to check.

    I tried this but it didn't seem to help but maybe we didn't bend it enough. We've had this problem before and had to have it fixed, but the same problem keeps occurring after a few months.

    When the printed page exits the machine , is the lighter side the front or back of the page because that is the corresponding spring to bend out. If you had to have this fixed a few months ago have a look at the copy of the work order from the tech that did the work and see what it says.

When we receive faxes, Only the very right side prints out. WE have a new ink cartridge and drum unit. It did it before we changed it and it is doing the same thing. Is there anything that we can do?


don't know if this will fix prob, but pull drum unit out and locate the piece of glass that runs right to left inside of fax right over top of where drum would be sitting. clean that off. if theres toner coating that glass, that will cause light prints or blanks. this is of course, assuming that you are getting these kind of prints from more that one fax.

The printer samsung scx-452f cannot print out fax in,it shown on screen as memory receive


you have received faxes, but they can't be print until you replace toner because probably you have TONER EMPTY message also on the display.
You can buy only fuse for toner cartridge (25mm, 250V/ 0,063A or 0,1A and maximum 0,125A)
When you pull out toner cartridge you will see the glass fuse on the front left side of the cartridge.
The new fuse will reset toner empty condition

Received fax in memory but not printing


I just checked this out as I had the same problem. It seems that the machine is programmed to stop printing faxes when the Toner is "out". Even though the toner is not completely out. I was positive that the note on the screen was false since I could print out documents and copies (I am not using Samsung original Toner). But the fax will refuse to print.  I fixed this by changing the toner (again with a non-Samsung toner) and it is printing all the faxes in memory.  It is stupid that they haven't set up a menu item to force it to print all the faxes in memory but voila, that seems to be the fix. I guess this is a way for them to control that we only use Samsung toner.

Fax machine does not print on the right side of paper


Probably the thermal head is bad. It's a spring loaded bar inside of the fax machine. You might be able to shim it closer to the paper on the bad side.

Very poor print quality


the loud you hear indicate improper of mechanism of fax get drum unit out  and check for good condition of the unit (no broken in drum gear-or bad cleaning blade)-and reinstall it again- rip over toner box many times and check it  in horizontal level many times.if all above  does not work -you will have a problem in drum unit or your fax mechanism(broken gears-chain or belt defective-bad selonid-clutch-

Faxes received are so light, the page looks blank


don't forget to try other fax-paper... your's might have already expired.... if this doesn't work... the printer's heater might need changing.

Samsung scx-4521f fax memory received but never print out.


In 3 second make combination on you Samsung 4521F 'Menu'-#-1-9-3-4. You will enter in tech menu. Select 'toner'-new toner-yes. You will receive faxes. It really works.

Received fax's are not printing. Unit prints confermations and is working as a printer but recieved fax's just park in memory and will not print.


TYPICALLY A FAX MACHINE WILL RECEIVE MESSAGE IN MEMORY WHEN NO PAPER OR TONER/INK FINISHED INDICATION IS THERE, REPLENISH THESE SUPPLIES WITH GENUINE ONES AND FAX WILL START PRINTING. IF PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED , PLEASE TRY TO CLEAR THE SETTING FOR MEMORY RECEIVING, IF STILL NOT SOLVED TRY BRINGING THE MACHINBE TO FACTROY SET SETTING BY CLEARING THE MEMORY. HAPPY FAXING OMNIPRESENT
