Question about Canon PowerShot A540 Digital Camera
I have a picture on my memory card that was selected as protected (student prank). I have no use for this picture. How can I deselect protected so I can delete the picture?
Or is there someway to reformat the memory card?
The camera I have is a Canon PowerShot A530
To format your memory card, go to this link and click on the Advanced User Manual link, which will open in a separate window (you can save this file by clicking on the Save icon in the upper left corner). Go to page 30 for complete instructions.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
