First try to clean the laser lens. There are disc's you can buy for that purpose. They a tiny little area on the disc that has some very fine brushes that will clean the lens somewhat. It is not as good as having a technician clean it, but it can help.

Sounds like you may have a bad laser pick up or spindle motor, sometimes it can even be something in the servo circuit for the laser or the dsp ic.

since it loads everything good, the only thing you can do to ensure it is not something simple is to make sure the disc's are not loaded the wrong way and they are clean and scratch free as possible. Sometimes a fingerprint or scratch on a disc on the inner most part of a disc will keep it from being able to be played. That is the area the TOC (table of content) is located. If the laser can't read that area, it can't read any of the disc.

Hope this was helpful, I have repaired lots of cd changers and players over the last 15 years and if it is not something simple, then it will need to be serviced.

DVD NOT RECEIVING DVD DISCS

Hello
The loading mechanism has the trouble. The inserted CD or DVD does not engage into the laser assembly unit properly. It may be due some fault with its loading motor or loading belt. Check these.

Theres nothing in my printer to put the ink into

It could be that the cartridge carrier just did not move to the loading position. If you're having trouble with the cartridge carrier not moving automatically to its loading position (to install/replace cartridges) even when the printer is on and the cover is open, please follow the steps below:
  1. Unplug the printer from the power source.
  2. With the printer cover open, hold the solid white strip that connects from the carrier assembly to the ink cartridge carrier and gently slide the carrier to the center of the printer.
  3. Open the latch and remove the used cartridges.
  4. Load the new cartridges. Close the latch and then the printer cover.
  5. Re-plug the printer to the power source.
  6. After going through the startup process, try to print a document to verify that the cartridges are working and installed properly.

CD cartridge is stuck in changer. Press the eject button and i can see a red light flashing but nothing happens. Radio reads no disk.

It can be that a cd is warped and is struck within the mechanism and so the loading is incomplete so that the cartridge is not loaded back .In some models there is a tiny reset switch near the eject button in case the set has hung. So check this out.
If not the changer must be taken out and removed to check within so as to see if the loading mechanism has failed. In some cases the flexible strip to the loading motor can be faulty, the loading motor by itself or the mechanism.

Do not know how to change ink cartridge x2650

Lift the scanner unit, and then press down on the cartridge carrier latch to raise the cartridge carrier lid. The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position, unless the printer is busy.

Remove the used print cartridge. Insert your new cartridges.

Sometimes the ink cartridge carrier won't automatically move to its loading position even when the printer is on and the cover is open. Follow the steps below:

1. Unplug the printer from the power source.

2. With the cover open, hold the solid white strip that connects from the carrier assembly to the ink cartridge carrier and gently slide the cartridge carrier to the center of the printer.

3. Remove the used cartridges.

4. Load the new cartridges. Close the cover.

5. Plug the printer back to the power source.

10 disk player inconsitently plays or reports "err" for each disk position. How to fix?

Please remove the cartridge and check all the discs on it ., It is possible that over a period of time the disc could have warped. The disc while loading could be going into the wrong track and hence the mechanism needs a check on the path . Alignment of the loading tracks must be checked or corrected.

We can't get the factory 6 disc cd player to load more than 1 disc. What is the sequence for loading additional discs?

The following is the owner's manual for your 2004 Dodge Neon:

http://www.dodge.com/en/owners/manuals/index.html?year=2004&nameplate=Neon

P.99 describes how to load discs:

1. Select and press any numbered button without an illuminated light above it.
2. Insert the CD while the light above the chosen button is flashing and the two lights on either side of the slot are illuminated.
3. Upon insertion, the CD will begin to play, and both the button light and the lights in the corner of the loading slot will illuminate.
4. Repeat the process for loading any additional CDs. The CD playe rwill stop while additional CDs are loaded.

Playing Discs
The radio will show the CD number, the CD track number, and the Track Time Elapsed while the radio is in the CD mode. IF more than one CD is loaded in the changer, the changer will automatically play the next disc after playing the last track of the current disc.

Wow, that's a lot of typing.
I didn't know the 2004 Dodge Neon had such a nice changer.
Good luck.

Cd changer says magazine empty when its loaded. why and how can it be fixed?

Hello there is a cartridge sense swith, in this unit that senses when the magazine is inserted to ejected. This swith may need to be replaced or cleaned on the cartridge housing.. Also do you hear the cartridge engauge the system and the disc select motor operation if not then you may have a timing problem in the loading mechanism..
