Hi,
The easiest way to do this is use the RCA remote code finder that I have provided at this link.
1) Simply use the drop down list to find the exact model number of your remote.
2) Use the second drop down list to find the device you want to control - in your case TV.
3) Select the Sharp Brand in the third drop down list.
4) Your code will be displayed. There is no charge for using this remote code finder.
Thanks for using FixYa.
Hi,
They are all Universal remotes by RCA but each one has a different model number and code memory. The model number is needed to identify the code so you will need to identify the model no. on yours.
Sometimes the model number is written in the battery compartment underneath the batteries if no number is written on the remote itselfs so you could check there.
Check for this and get back to me and there is a much better chance of resolving the problem. Also let me know if the remote uses a 3, 4 or 5 digit code.
These are some codes I am aware of for Sharp with the RCA - the main one being 0110
Sharp 4 digit codes
0056
0110
0182
0705
Other 3 digit codes (if this applies to your remote)
006
024
027
039
045
You can work through each of these but ultimately the model number will point us in the right direction if these fail.
Thanks.

Catalog only showed three remotes, none were mine. It is a black remote with all grey buttons no color. I have seen it in other purchase catalogs called it RCA/audiovox universAl remote.
