It would be helpful to know how far into the cycle does the error show up.
Also does it go away when you turn power to dishwasher off and back on.

If you can operate the dishwasher then try in Rinse only and see if it completes the program.

If the error F6 is happening on all cycles within 3 minutes of start of cycle and water is filling in partly, then it looks like the flood switch at the base is triggering. This also means it is trying to pump water out everytime.

There should be a float at bottom of dishwasher which is either faulty or something is stuck under it.

I am assuming you have tried other means to reset the dishwasher like turning the mains power off and back on again.

Dishwasher ADPU 701 WH showes error code F6 E1. Stopped mid cycle. What to do ?

Error code F6 E1 on a dishwasher typically indicates a problem with the electronic control board. This can be caused by a number of factors, including a power surge, a malfunctioning component, or a problem with the wiring.

Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check the power supply to the dishwasher. Make sure that the outlet is receiving power and that the power cord is securely plugged in.

Reset the dishwasher. To do this, unplug the dishwasher for a few minutes and then plug it back in. This can often reset the electronic control board and resolve the issue.

Check for any loose or damaged wires in the dishwasher. If you find any, tighten them or replace them as needed.

Test the electronic control board. If you have a multimeter, you can test the control board to see if it is functioning properly. If it is not, you may need to replace it.

Check the water supply to the dishwasher. Make sure that the water supply valve is open and that there is no blockage in the supply line.

Check the dishwasher filters. If the filters are clogged, they can cause the dishwasher to malfunction. Clean or replace the filters as needed.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to call a professional appliance repair technician for further assistance.

Whirlpool ADP 4501/5 wash arm not working - have cleaned nozzles and checked the seal for water feed. Still not working. Any suggestions please?

To me it sounds like low water pressure. Have a look at the filters in your hose connections. If OK, disconnect the hose at the inlet to your machine and check if water flows freely.

Whirlpool dishwasher error code F6

F6 error fault code
This is the Water tap closed. What that means is that the flow meter is not recording water entering the dishwasher, this can be a water tap turned off (suprisingly more common than you'd think, after new flooring or decorating has taken place),
water hose kinked or blocked, the dishwasher water soleniod valve defective.

Whirlpool dishwasher F8 E1 error

You have a blockage in the drain line someplace. If you have a garbage disposer, check to see that it is clear where the dishwasher connects to it. Also check and make sure that the drain hose is higher then the inlet to the disposer to prevent water draining back into the drain line from the disposer. If that's clear you have a blockage somewhere in the drainline. Best to unit from cabinet and check it

Fault code F6 on whirlpool adp6940. what is it?

Hello there
F6 error code - The dishwasher can't take on water. Check that the water inlet is properly connected, the stop tap valve is open and that water supply is otherwise available to the dishwasher. Also check for kinks or blockages on the water hose. if all is good than you may have a problem with the solinoid valve for the water or the cycle timer may be faulty and the door switch may be bad or not working properly so
you will want them checked for ohms and resistance if they are found bad they need to be replaced

Whirlpool dishwasher

I had the exact same problem with my Whirlpool Quiet Partner IV. I removed the lower arm, and a couple of components below that, and got to the filter/grinder (that thing that chops up and filters the recirculated water before it goes to the pump that feeds the arms). The filter was completely clogged. I used a knife to scrap away the foodstuffs, put everything back together and all worked excellent. Just goes to show you that you should rinse your plates before to place them in the dishwasher.
