Craig MP3 Player model no.CMP616F Problems MP3 Player turns on when connected to the computer but the minute I disconnect it, it turns right off and wont turn back on again until connected again.

this happened to me wen i first got mine, so what in the manual the mp3 will need at 4 hours at first to be charged fully, when u charge it flip the on/off switch ON, n let it sit as long as you can. thats the only way it will charge, the reason why it keeps turning off is becuz its on low battery

My mp4 player (craig model#CMP616F)will only flash an hour glass, what do i do?

Mine did the same thing. I talked with a guy at the company and he told me it was frozen. What you need to do is let it run till the entire battery is dead. Than recharge it completely. For 4 hours at least. That should reset it. Now my player works fine.
Good luck.

I have a craig mp4 player model CMP616F and i just bought it, charged it, loaded songs and used it 1 time. now when i turn it on a hour glass comes on the screen and blinks and cant do anything else

i had the same problem with mine searched online and found that someone said to let the battery run completely dead, (turn it on and leave it on til the screen stops blinking) that resets it, and then you charge it for 4 (i think) hours. Worked for mine and I hope it works for you too

Craig CMP616F 4 GB MP4 Player blinks on and off? What's happening? It worked fine earlier...Battery charged, tried connecting it to PC, just happened today. note that this lasted 3 days

Got same problem with this thing. Best suggestion, remove headphones, place MP3 player in trash, tell everyone you know not to by a Craig. Hopefully they will go out of business soon.

Keep your mp4 player turned OFF while charging and keep it in for an hour. Let it charge up. If that doesn't work something else will - Follow these directions carefully!

1. GENTLY hold your Craig MP4 player in hand. 2. Walk over to window and hold it near sunlight for 2 minutes. 3. Shake it gently 3 times. 4. GENTLY place it down and wait 2 minutes. 5. Grab mp4 player and smash it into trash can.

Voila! Problem solved!
