Water not cold anymore

I changed the pur water filter in my kenmore, but the water that comes out now isn't cold anymore. I haven't got any problem with the dispenser, it's just the temperature I'm having trouble with.

    I changed the filter in my coldspot Kenmore and the water comming through the dispenser is not cold.The ice maker is fine. There is a flashing Red light inside the freezer compartment where the on and off switch to the ice maker is. How can I fix this?

The tank in the fridge may have a block so only the warm water is coming in and not cycling thru the tank to be chilled? would be my best guess

There should be a shut off valve inside where the filter goes. When you remove the filter, it should slam shut.

this is normal. trapped air from the new filter will cause it to drip until all air has cleared. if you will run about a gallon of water thru the dispenser it should help if not stop the dripping all together. thanks peyton

I have the opposite problem
You may have air in the system. When you actuate the dispenser it opens an electric valve in back to start the flow of water. When you release the dispenser air in the system expanding will cause the water to continue to flow until the pressure equalizes.
