Is this the only problem with the keyboard not getting uppercase to work ?
While Acer laptops are built to be used on the go, they are not indestructible. An accidental drop or even normal wear and tear over an extended period of time can cause the laptop keys to become dislodged and fall out. Debris can also build up inside the keys and make them stick or stop working. Fixing the keys on your Acer laptop is a quick process that does not require taking the unit to a professional repair shop.

Power off the Acer laptop and flip the unit over. Slide the battery release lever over and lift the battery out of the laptop. Turn the laptop back over and open the lid. Look inside the open area on the keyboard where the key would normally go. Check to see if the plastic retaining clip is still inside the hole. Locate the plastic retaining clip if it fell off the keyboard along with the key. Use a pair of tweezers to set the clip back inside the hole. Line up the holes on the clip with the four raised nodules inside the keyboard hole. Set the key back onto the plastic clip. Push the key down until it clicks into place. Flip the laptop back over if there are keys that are not working properly. Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the three screws on the left side of the case that hold the keyboard in place. Turn the laptop back over so that you can see the LCD screen. Push the thin end of a flat-head screwdriver under the LED indicator strip above the keyboard. Pop the strip upward and pull it off the laptop. Lift the keyboard up towards you until the long ribbon cable running from the bottom of the keyboard to the motherboard comes into view. Unplug the cable from the port on the motherboard and then pull the keyboard and its ribbon cable off the case. Spray out the underside of the keys and the inside of the Acer laptop case with canned air. Reassemble the keyboard, LED indicator strip and battery.

My boot priority order changed now my computer wont go to my desktop

Hi!
Sorry, I hope I was not too late. You can fix priority order issue by restoring the default value of BIOS. You can do that by doing the steps below:
1. Reboot your Acer Aspire 5315 notebook.
2. Wait about 30 seconds until you see the Acer logo on your laptop screen.
3. Press the "F2" key on the keyboard to enter the Acer Aspire 5315 laptop BIOS menu.
4. Select the BIOS option "Load Default Setting" using the arrow keys on your keyboard. Then press "Enter."
5. Press the "F10" key to save the BIOS that is reset to the factory default settings.
Hope this helps.

If you are referring to the?< > { } symbols and characters, in order to get to these symbols, hold down the "Shift" key while hitting the key with the symbol you are trying to get. Any keys with one symbol on top of the key and one on the bottom of the same key, pressing the shift key allows for the symbol on the top of that key.

Keyboard problem. Key 3, @, #, y, n can't use

you may have shorted your keyboard (spillage??)

if your laptop is outside warranty you can check the connection to the keyboard, by removing the top bezel, undoing the keyboard retaining screws and then check that the ribbon cable for your keyboard is seated properly, If reseating this cable does not work the you can always order a replacement for your keyboard, you can find the part number for the keyboard you have, it should be printed on a tag on the reverse of the keyboard.
