The fan of the AC unit is always ON unless there is a power saving option on the model you are having and which is not specified by you. You might be noticing the higher noise level in the night as a possible higher voltage in the night power supply or the external surrounding noise being silent.
Open the panel and check if the fan bearings are dry, oil them , if there is enough dirt have a good cleaning with air or remove and spray with jet wash. make sure that the fan motor is not loose or the blades are touching any parts. reset after a close check with the fan manually rotated.
Set the temperature to normal and the fan speed to the lowest. Choose energy saver -power option where the fan will cut off totally... only if present in this model.

Cpu fan noisy in scaleo p

You can order and replace the noisy fan.
It is not difficult to do and requires minimum tools.
Just be sure any dust or debris is removed from heat sink fins, power supply and air vents in the case. Check clearance and dimensions before purchasing the new fan. Just like Goldie locks you want it Just right. Not to big and not too small.
If you blowing the Power supply out with compressed air. (always a dust magnet) Be sure to hold the power supply fan with a wooden dowel or anything to prevent blades from spinning. Be sure to do all this with the power off and unplugged. Compressed air can over rev the power supply fan and damage the bearings. (you'll have another noisy fan within a short time if you don't.)
Good luck hope this helps!

Fan noise loud and always present

If the fan is very dusty that an cause a lot of noise as it will be unbalanced. If the fan is on all of the time, maybe the bios requires updating. There may be a GPU issue and that will make the cpu run hot.

Laptop too noisy

Cleaning it out should help with that. Get a can of compressed air and clean out all the vents and fans. You can also use a vacuum with a hose attachment to clean it.

WE ARE CURRENTLY IN NORTHERN TERRITORY VERY HOT AND HUMID. RUNNING AC THRU THE NIGHT IT STOPS BLOWING COLD AIR AND FAN SEEMS TO BE NOISY. HAS IT ICED UP DUE TO THE HUMIDITY. UNIT BEING RUN THRU THE DAY NO...

If your coil is freezing at night, it sounds like your getting cold enough at night to have your saturation temperature drop below the design of what the AC is able to do. If it runs all day without an issue and freezes up at night, you need to add what is called an outdoor fan cycling switch. This will turn the condenser fan off when the saturation temperature drops so it will not freeze your coil at night. You need to have an HVAC technician install this. It is not a DIY projuect since it has adjustments that need to be right. Plus, it it's a heat pump, it needs to drop the switch off in the winter.

I have a Yamaha Stagepas 300, and the mixer has always had a noisy fan. Normally, the noise goes away after a few minutes--but today it lasted for almost ten. Does this mean the fan is going? Thanks, Kathy

The stagepas 300 has two fans. Both of them are known to go bad. you can order the two fans from yamaha, but they are very pricey for what they are. (unless your service tech like me :-)) The part numbers are AAX62021 and AAX62041.

Do you think you may have water in the inducer fan? Really. There may be a drain hose connected to the fan housing that allows the condensate to be drained away. Remove the hose and check for debris blocking the hose. While you are looking at it, make sure your venting slopes to either the outside or back to the furnace, you may have a build-up of water in the horizontal length of the vent pipe. Hope I helped!

Evaporator Fan Motor noise is excessive for this refrigerator. GE Profile CustomStyle Model PTI22SFMARBS Serial# SF900146V Jenn-Air

If the fan is always noisy, then it's probably is a bad fan. Easy to replace. But if the fan is quiet and purring sometimes, but buzzes like a demon when on high, then the problem is ice buildup. See a possible solution here.
