Question about Linksys Wireless N Gigabit Router
I have 2 desktops: an old xp and a brand new vista. When i try to install it on either desktops i get stuck at the part where it says "enter your internet connection type" i know it is DHCP because i called my isp Verizon 3+ times and they said that it was probably a linksys problem...so they rerouted me to linksys and they just told me to go back to verizon. I called both companies numerous times spending hours trying to fix it...but both didn't offer up a solution. How can i install this on my xp so that my vista can wirelessly connect to it? i currently have a verizon modem attached to the xp and my vista is wirelessly connected to it but it is slow (5 mbps) and the connection is poor...how can i update it to the speed 10/100/1000 like it advertised and get a reception of "excellent"?
