What should be the problem when screen seems dark even after switch on.

MY GUESS IS, FIND SETTINGS THERE,
TURN OFF SLEEP OR SET IT LIKE YOU WANT.
2 HOURS"? OR LONGER OR OFF.

Can you try the screen in another computer? I beleave the screen goes into power saveing mode when there is no input signal, thats what both my screens do.

Is your computer working?

Have you tried changing the screen color mode,you can select Daytime for a light background or Nightime for a dark background,or Auto to automatically switch between the two.Touch Tools,Settings,Display.

What you are describing is the inverter in a the laptop display going bad. The only fix is to purchase the correct display inverter for that model and install it in your laptop display.

try switching your camera on in a dark room (do it at night with the curtains closed and the lights off).

if the screen lights up (should still be black or a very dark green),
then the lens or light sensors might not be functioning correctly.

if the screen stays conpletely black, then the actual screen might be damaged.


note- you might need to let your eyes adjust to the darkness before you switch your camera on.
