Mitsu wd-52628 green flashing timer/power light

My power/timer light has been flashing green evr since power was restored following a power outage. How do I know if its the DM board, the 4 capacitors, or any other of the caps that need to be replaced. I want to avoid buying a part that wont solve the problem. thanks

Good Day;
Since you have a LED that does not stop blinking after plug in, and you want to verify, do this: Verify the standby supplies, 12-volts at connector KA pin 17, 6- volts at KA pin 18 &the 28-volts at KA pin19, if the supplies are prsent suspect the DM PCB.l THe 680 ufd 16-volt caps are only a small cost maybe $.35 each. If you do this repair make sure you unplug the little plug-in board, on the DM board, while you replace those caps. Then plug little board back.

Good Luck & let me know; big I

Steady blinking is the DM failing to complete the boot sequence. Your more than likely needing the DM repair kit.

I replaced the lamp in my Mitsubishi WD 52628 and the tv will still not come on and the lamp light still blinks

"Initialize" a "factory reset". Power on the tv, on the original remote, enter "MENU 1,2,3 ENTER". This will get you to the factory reset window. Initialize the default reset and you are fixed. Try this before ditching the set or tearing it apart. Good luck and post your results for everyone here with the blinking green timer light issue. Thanks.

Timer light blinks constantly

Hi,
Is it Mitsubishi WD-52628 TV? please confirm model number.
Unplug TV from AC outlet for couple of minutes, replug back in, turn power ON and check, still same problem?
Lets read error code in TV, press Device and Menu buttons on front of TV at same time for 6 seconds that will activate error code read process. Led will flash in 2 sequence with half second pause. count it and let me know the error code to proceed.
Thanks.

Mitsubishi wd-52628 flashing green timer light

If the power/timer led is the one blinking constantly
the most likely problem is two 3300 mfd caps and 1 to 8 1000mfd caps on the power board.
could be the DM board or caps on it as well.

Flashing green timer light on TV

change the 4 100uf capacitors on the DM board. You will need the service manual to get the set apart as its technical. But with the service manual and take notes you should be able to repair it. But the service manual for that chassis is mandatory or you will never get the chassis out without alot of trouble. Heres a link where you can get the manual emailed to you.
