I am using a garmin gps and from my experiences using it, you have to:
1) Be outdoors when using the GPS. 2) Have the SD-card or memory card fitted into the gps device. 3) Have a valid map installed into the GPS or subscribed to a gps service.

Slow at finding satelites

Most common reasons for this is that your battery level is low. Make sure it is fully charged before use.

Ineed a manual for a F15

http://www.navman.com/docs/manuals/navman-f15-f25-manual-en_us.pdf
There is a 70 page manual. Not that its much help if the satelite signal doesn't kick in.

Navman just searches for GPS

i get the same on two of the same here only thing i can say is their tech support does not work and their customer service is next to none but perhaps they have turned off the satelite signal so that the 320's wont work anymore so that people have to go out and buy another 1 or perhaps the aliens shot down the satelite

It will take ages to find a signal the first time it tried. Once locked on it should pick up the sats really quickly the next time you turn on the device.

If you turn it off completely (battery switch to off) then it will take ages again the next time it is turned on.

Hope this helps.

"Searching for Satelite" - unable to find

10-15 minutes is normal.
Did you take it outside? GPS doesn't work indoors. Try in an open field, no trees. Should lock in a few minutes. I always do the following: i key in the destination address at home, then put it under 'favourites". When i start driving, i put the unit in my car and look up the recently added favourite. The unit then has enough time to lock on to the satellites.
