Question about Dell Inspiron 5160 Notebook
Remove the battery and disconnect the AC power, then reconnect the AC power only and see if you can start the computer. If it starts, it means you probably have a shorted battery. If it will not start, you may have a broken power switch board. Also check the A-C power connection and make sure that the connector in the computer does not wobble around, if it does, it will need to be repaired by an experienced computer tech.
