Small crack/hole in petrol tank of car.. can u suggest some spl sealing material. M-seal is not working..

There are sealants available from an auto accesory shop but the old emergency method was to rub soap into the leak. The soap reacts with the petrol and sets hard, I have seen it last for quite some time. The best way is to replace the tank with a good used unit. It can be soldered but the tank has to be cleaned out really well as the fumes can explode causing extreme injuries if not carefull. (not reccomended)

I have the same problem with my stone corner soap dish. It used to drain ok but recently water just sits on the dish and mold grows. Unless we get a good solution, I plan to drill holes into the dish to let it drain.

How install the soap dish

There are a couple of designs, one is surface mount and the other is recessed. Surface mount mounts with silicone (hard to imagine it would last) and the other installed similar to a tile, but using grout. The grout install gets a hole cut in the tiles, goop everything up with grout, and goosh it into the wall, clean same as you would when working with grout.

Both designs need support until the adhesive dries.

yes, you should seal all tile with a 3-5 year sealer. there are many brands to choose from. excess grout should be removed with a sponge and water before it dries. clean food splatters with any safe kitchen cleaner.

Water leaking from the door

Could be a number of things. If you are in an area with hard water you could be using too much soap or the wrong soap. The dishwasher could be out of level, or the door seal could need replacing. Dishwashers also need to be cleaned. Soap residue builds over time. Try running the d/w with no dishes or soap, pour 5-6 cups of white vinegar directly into the tub and run a whole cycle. And again watch the soap usage.

Have a tub main bearing needing replaced on Amana LWA40AW2

Generally, if you need sealant, you can use any kind of automotive sealant. The best ones are the rubber-based gasket sealants. Be sure the surfaces are clean before applying and use only enough to make a thin bead. About the bearing: If you have no access to a press, you can often use a piece of pipe (either plastic or steel) which is just large enough to slip over the shaft and pound the bearing into place with a mallet. The pipe should contact only the inner (shaft contacting) race. Be sure it is square. You should lightly lubricate the area where the bearing will seat and also the inside lip and bore of the seal. .
