the sandisk ultra II cannot be read by my multi card reader.  I have been able to use other cards in this slot in the past & just did a test w/ my sandisk adaptor of the same size w/ out a problem.  When I insert the card into the reader the "access light" just stays red as if nothing is in there and my computer can't see it!  Help- we filmed a commercial onto this card yesterday & need to get at these files.  Trying to transfer them to my Mac.

Computer will not recognize the Sandisk

Look for the driver updates for Windows. Checking your memory card on other PC is also recommended.

Memory card

I have looked at the specs for your camera and you should be ok, if you are using SD or SDHC memory cards. As far as the computer you are using to read the cards, not enough info. to comment on that. One possible way to see your pictures on the 4gb or 8gb cards on your computer would be to leave them in your camera. Use the USB cable and connect your camera to the computer. With your camera on it should recognize your card in the camera as a storage device at the least. Click on it and you should be able to manage them on your computer. Hope this helps.

San Disk Micro Cruzer 4GB

Hi there,

Try plugging it in to a different USB port on your computer. Make sure the connecter on the Cruzer is clean and there's no dust inside.

Also, try plugging it in on a different computer.

If none of these work,
I'm afraid it's a hardware problem and there's nothing that can be done about that.

Hope I helped!

San disk ultra II won't show up on computer

You'll have to go to to verify this for your specific model, but... the problem is that some firmware versions won't recognize over a 2GB card. There may be a firmware update available. Find your product on the site using search, and then look for software updates. Don't hesitate to call techsupport (866-726-3475).... usually NOT a long wait, they speak clearly and they're polite.

Can't initialize SanDisk Ultra II for S7000

try formatting it in the computer, then initializing it in the camera.
It's possible that the camera can only handle memory up to 1Gb. Try a 1g CF card.

Does not read my PNY MICRO SD card to down load my lime wire musi

You may have to format the disk. Right click my computer and click manage. Then click Disk Management and in the right hand side select the 4Gb memory (it will show up as 3. something Gb). and click format (provided there is nothing on it). Format as FAT or FAT32 and when it's done, it should show up in my computer as a disk.
