Is it possible to take apart & clean a Hanimex 72-162mm lens? If so, how?

Is it possible yes, is it recommended no. Lenses are full of little tiny precise parts that are difficult to assemble. The smuges you see are probably mildew. This will eat into the coating on the lens. Hanimex was a an importer based in Australia. They did not manufacture lenses themselves. I have used many legacy lenses on Olympus cameras, Hanimex and others. As a general rule I found these lenses did OK as a macro but only average in general use.

Smudge print on camera lens, how can it be cleaned ?

Best bet is to use the same cleaning supplies you use to clean glasses. You need a very soft cloth, like a clean microfiber and get it slightly damp.

I have a Samsung L200 camera. Sometimes there will be a fingerprint on the lense because someone touches it. Is there an easy way to clean the lense without causing so much smudging on the lense?

1. Buy a "lenspen". Available at amazon.com and adorama.com 2. Use a cotton swab lightly dampened with lens cleaning fluid (available at photo sections of department stores) 3. Whatever method you use, do it GENTLY!

Smudge on pictures

Yes, if you have used different lenses and a smudge still appears (in the same place) there may be something on your sensor. Have you cleaned or touched the sensor in the past? Typically sensors only get dust (shows up as small fuzzy dark spots) on the sensor, not smudges.

InFocus LP70+ condensation/smudge INSIDE of lense

there is, but it is a pain. you need to remove the top, the cables off of the main board, the 3 screws on the main board, the spacers on the dvi connector, the rear screen (by it's screw), the fan underneath the board, the colorwheel guard, the 3 screws holding in the optical engine, then the optical engine. now you can remove the 3 screws for the lens and remove the lens. now if you can remember the spacing on the focus/zoom rings, remove the screws and unscrew the lens barrel and clean it. now put it back together. it might be easier to find another used lp70+ and swap out the parts.

Dirt on the inside of the front lense

Hello, I very much doubt that a small piece of dirt on the lens is a problem. It is more likely that your sensor needs to be cleaned. Sensor dirt is more visible at small (f11 to f32) apertures. I expect that you are shooting bright snow with a small aperture & this is why you are seeing the problem. To check, try the following.
Set camera to Av, ISO 100.
take some photos of the sky, a blank wall, or some other featureless surface, as follows:
1 - Set aperture to highest possible f - number.
2 - set aperture to lowest f-number.
3 - repeat 1 with a different lens
4 - repeat 2 with a different lens.

I expect that you will see photo 1 and photo 3 will have identical smudges of dirt on them. Photos 2 and 4 should have no smudges. If this is the case, your problem is dirt on the camera sensor. The only way to fix it is to clean your sensor.

Fresnal lense

What kind of camera? Some camera's have removable fresnel lens held on by a spring loaded frame. Other camera's must be disassembled to replace the lens. There is no way to repair a damaged fresnel lens.
Pentax K1000 must be disassembled.

Fresnal lense

Hi-- first blow off any loose dust/dirt with blower and then you can use any rapidly evaporating cleaning solution ( window cleaning solution with amonia is OK ) to clean both sides. Do not use acetone ! ( will attack plastic ) . Benzine is also unsutable . Do not touch with fingers : remove with tweeezers and insert back with tweezers.

Smudges lexmark c510

First check the rollers of the fuser assembly and drum are free of any greasy spots as if somebody touched them with dirty hands. if they are clean, you may have dirt on the lenses inside of the laser imaging compartment and to clean you must be careful not to scratch them or move them out of alignment. moving the lenses invites a totally different trouble, and plus they are plastic for some reason maybe it is economical that way use a micro fiber cloth only.
