There's a lot of reason why your computer is not turning on. If you said that when you trying to turn on your computer it sound beep or clicking. Try to feel or look at the back of your system unit if your power supply fan turning. If it's turning there is no problem with your power supply unless you test it with multitester. If no display but your computer is on, it means that you have to check your memory or video card try cleaning pin of your memory and video card. First you have to electro static discharge by holding the chasis of your computer, because the computers component is very sensitive to electro static. Good Luck

You can find such diagrams at http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html . Enter you vehicle info . year , make , model , engine size . Then under system click on electrical distribution , under subsystem click on power distribution . Click search , two blue links will show . Click on them one at a time to see where those fuse with no power are suppose to get it from . The electronic throttle gets power from the PCM - engine computer . The PCM supply's a five volt ref. to throttle and some othe sensors on the vehicle . It's not going to have power like your thinking it does .

What is psu?

Power supply unit computer
A power supply unit (PSU) converts main AC to low-voltage regulated DC power for the internal components of a computer. Modern personal computers universally use a switched mode power supply. Some power supplies have a manual selector for input voltage, while others automatically adapt to the supply voltage.

Hp computer tower will not go on

Would that be an LED (Light Emitting Diode), blinking on the back of the Power Supply?

If so, instead of being an LED that indicates the Power Supply has power to it, it has now turned into a diagnostic LED (Light), and is telling you the Power Supply is bad.

Do you have an economical multimeter, so I can guide you in testing the 3 low DC Voltages; that come out of the Power Supply?
An economical multimeter can be purchased for as little as $5 to $12.
I have seen them on checkout aisle racks, in major discount stores.

The dangerous high AC voltage, is kept contained within the metal case of the Power Supply.
(100 to 240 Volts depending on what country you are in)

The Power Supply is a Converter.
It converts the high AC voltage into 3 low DC Voltages;
3.3 Volts, 5 Volts, and 12 Volts.
In comparison two D cell flashlight batteries produce 3 Volts DC.

OR;
Use a KNOWN to be good, Compatible power supply; for a temporary test unit.

{"Honey, I'm going to borrow the Power Supply out of your computer.
I'll put it back when I'm done."
"What? I'll be sleeping on the couch? K"} (Lol!)

Also, is the inside of the computer dirty?
(Computer Unplugged from power, Anti-Static Procedures FOLLOWED)

Let's start here......

Also, what is the Product Number?
Back of computer tower, white Service Tag.
P/N = Product Number

My 86 chevy blazer with 305 i pulled out the number 1 spark plug while still in the distributer whire and did not get any spark to the plug when my wife turned the engine over any suggestions

First do the SIMPLE thing: check if the distributor is getting the low voltage supply! If it isn't, that's the whole problem. Next, see if the high voltage coil is getting its low voltage supply and then if it outputs the high voltage...be systematic and save yourself money!

No power with power supply plugged in

I would use a power supply tester to be certain. Voltage meters are a good indicator of weather or not the main power distribution points are working, but there are actually several points providing power.

If this still doesn't work, check the power at the battery terminals to see if the battery itself is getting any power sent to it.

Computer power supply

Could be a bad component on the motherboard, not sending the correct signal to turn on the power supply. How did you test it while you had it out of the computer?

350 Chevy starter wiring diagram needed this engine has a points style distributer there are 3 wires plus the large battery cable Solinoid Power Alt Output Ign Switch Start THANKS

IF YOU HAVE A POINTS TYPE DISTRIBUTER, THE WIRING WILL BE: TO ENERGIZE THE STARTER SOLENOID A LARGE, ABOUT A NUMBER 12 OR 14 GAUGE WIRE WILL GO TO THE INNER MOST SMALL TERMINAL ON THE STARTER SOLENOID. IT MAY BE PURPLE IN COLOR. THE SECOND SMALLER WIRE SHOULD GO TO THE OUTER SOLENOID TERMINAL AND GO FROM THERE TO THE + TERMINAL ON THE IGNITION COIL. THIS IS FOR BY PASSING THE RESISTOR WIRE FROM THE STARTER IGNITION SWITCH. THE LARGER BATTERY CABLE WILL GO TO THE UPPER TERMINAL ON THE STARTER SOLENOID. THERE MAY BE AN ADDITIONAL BATTERY FEED WIRE TAKE OFF FROM THE STARTER BATTERY TERMINAL POST ON THE SOLENOID FOR OTHER ACCESSORIES. THIS TYPE OF SYSTEM (POINTS TYPE) WAS TYPICALLY DONE AWAY WITH IN 1975 WHEN THE HEI DISTRIBUTOR CAME OUT.
