I understand by reading previous posts, that I need to replace the 4 capacitors on the WD board. Is this one entire piece? And would you happen to know the part number?
it is the timer/power light that is constantly blinking. Had a tech come out and he mentioned a board being bad. Language barrier made it a bit difficult to understand anything else he said. Had a power outage yesterday and after power was restored, thats when the blinking began. Re: mitsubishi wd-52628 flashing green timer light
If the power/timer led is the one blinking constantly
the most likely problem is two 3300 mfd caps and 1 to 8 1000mfd caps on the power board.
could be the DM board or caps on it as well.

"Initialize" a "factory reset". Power on the tv, on the original remote, enter "MENU 1,2,3 ENTER". This will get you to the factory reset window. Initialize the default reset and you are fixed. Try this before ditching the set or tearing it apart. Good luck and post your results for everyone here with the blinking green timer light issue. Thanks.
Using your original remote, power on the tv, enter "menu 1,2,3, enter" to "Initialize" the "factory reset" once the window comes up choose to reset to default. That should fix the blinking green timer light.
if the green timer light is flashing you need to replace or have them replaced several capacitors on the power supply board, the FMT board and the DM board. it is a very common problem with these sets you are not alone.
Hi, Is it Mitsubishi WD-52628 TV? please confirm model number. Unplug TV from AC outlet for couple of minutes, replug back in, turn power ON and check, still same problem? Lets read error code in TV, press Device and Menu buttons on front of TV at same time for 6 seconds that will activate error code read process. Led will flash in 2 sequence with half second pause. count it and let me know the error code to proceed. Thanks.
Change the 1000uf @16v capacitors on the FMT board that should solve your problem. You will most likely found that they have swelled. Let me know if you need further info.
change the 4 100uf capacitors on the DM board. You will need the service manual to get the set apart as its technical. But with the service manual and take notes you should be able to repair it. But the service manual for that chassis is mandatory or you will never get the chassis out without alot of trouble. Heres a link where you can get the manual emailed to you. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
