Ensure that you have an audio connection to your LG theater system from the TV, that is labeled as "audio out" or similar to "variable out" to an audio input on the LG system. You may use a pair of RCA type cables or sometimes known as composite audio cables. Then on the LG system, select the input to use that you connected your audio cables from the TV into. Disable the TV speakers. Decrease volume on the LG system, then increase the volume on the TV all the way up. You now can use the LG system as the master volume for TV.

We have a Panasonic blu ray disc home theatre sound system Model no SC-BT735 all speakers are wired up and working through the dvd player we then have a techwood 32884 HD digital tv, but we do not know...

Many HT systems are designed to play back sound from the discs, and send video to the TV, not to receive an audio input from the TV and play it back. Without more detail, all I can suggest is that you refer to the manual for the HT system and see what it says in this respect

Samsung HTX715 will not play 5.1 surround sound from TV signal only works from DVDs any ideas, back speakers do not produce any sound

In any native or automatic sound mode the HT will only produce mutichannel sound from multichannel sources delivering a digital bitstream. Is that the case with the TV? The best source for TV related audio is from the source, usually the cable box. Read the manual.

Hi, Ive tried to set up my samsung blue ray

It seems as though the HT works fine, so to get the TV itself to play through the HT setup, take the audio out from the TV and hook it up to a separate channel on the HT receiver. Turn on TV and receiver and put the receiver on the respective channel of the receiver. I hope this helps.

Home Cinema Samsung HT Z310R- Speakers not working with TV

Hi,
You need just one cable that goes from your TV to your HT system.
On your TV you should see an RCA jack for "AUDIO OUT" and you need to plug that into your AUXILLARY "AUDIO IN" on your HT system
When you are watching TV and you want the sound to come through the HT system, just set the HT system to "AUX" mode. Most Samsung systems will have 3 'AUX' modes, set the remote on 'AUX 1' then wait a few seconds, if no sound comes through then set it on "AUX 2" wait a few seconds and if it doean't work try AUX 3.
Hope that helps.

TV sound not playing through home cinema

When you say both cables, i presume you mean the HDMI. If so, yes, both need to be used. The HDMI is for the Video to the TV in full HD (which you will want because you tv supports full 1080P and the HT player upscales to 1080P) and also for the Anynet functions to and from the TV to the HT.

The Optical transfers only Audio to the HT from what evr device you have connected. In your case the TV.

Without going into to much detail. i use a switch so i can connect several devices to the HT giving me the best sound possible.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,

Check the setup menu on your TV. Many models require that you choose between using the internal speakers and using the speaker outputs. Sometimes the TV menu choices are "FIXED" (audio output) or "VARIABLE" (internal speakers).
