Question about Dryers
The gas valve has coils on top of it that when energized create a magnetic force which holds the gas valve open....The coils can stup a lound noise under certain conditions....there maybe a temporary electrical problem in your are that is causing them to make the noise...
I would wait a day or two and see if it stops before replacing the coils...
