Question about Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO (F5D9230-4) Router (1010835)

1 Answer

I have a Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO Router -- Model number F5D9230-4, ver. 3100. I went into my settings using the address 192.168.2.1 and accidentally clicked on something I probably shouldn't and now my wireless connection is not working. I clicked on something like "enable/disable wireless access point" and clicked enable, but now only one of my computers (the one the router is connected to) is working not my laptop or my other desktop that is connected via the belkin USB adapter?? Any suggestions on how to fix the problem and get all my computers back up and running on the wireless network?

Can you log onto the 192.168.2.1 setup page?
Is so, go to advance in the setup and set the router to it's default settings.
Afterwards, log back in and reset your SSID and Encryption key.

If you can't get to the 192.168.2.1 page, you will have to maually reset the router:

The naming convention for version updates is 3.00 for ver 3 and 3.10 for ver 3.1
You are updating to 3.1 not 3.0

Use the reset button near where the AC adapter plugs in. Hold it in for at least ten seconds. This should set it back to factory, allowing you to set another password.

CANNOT CONNECTTO BELKIN G+ MIMO

Hello, Connect a crossover ethernet cable from the computer to one of the LAN ports (usually 4 grouped together) on back of router. Connect a crossover ethernet cable from DSL modem to the WAN port on the back of router. Enter The default address for a Belkin Wireless, 192 168.2.1 into browser address window. Hit enter, it will then ask for a password only. For default leave it blank and hit enter. You can change it later. This lets you into the settings. Look for WAN settings and make sure the "Dynamic IP" is selected. Save this and refresh the link. Bring up a browser and check for internet connection. There's a number of changes that can be made here. Let me know what happens.
