It sound as if the hand has been released from its mounting.

Take it to your local watch repairer, who should be able to fix it back on for you.

The minute hand spins freely. how do i fix this?

Your hands need to be reset. It is possible that you have dropped your watch or have knocked it on something to make them come loose. You need to take it into a jeweler or a watch repair person to have it fixed because they will need to open the watch up to solve the problem.

i just bought one last week and having the same problem. I have an accutron automatic watch and once i get it started it will keep time for up to 48 hours w/ no movement. I think the haurex is poorly made and if i can't get it to run longer than 12 hrs( wichi is about how long it runs now) i will be returning it.

I have the Haurex Italy Promise Women's Crystal Watch. I bought it in June of this year. The watch stopped running today. This may not be relevant but I do not wear a watch very often, keeping it more...

It is unusual for a quartz watch to stop so soon (presumably the battery is now dead?).

I suggest you contact the makers local customer care center and discuss it with them.

You can find their local service center by going to http://www.haurex.com/collezione.asp?id=93 and clicking on "after sales service". If you have any proof of purchase date, then it should be still under warranty if it needs repair.

Mintues hand problem.

There are two reasons for this. First- you distorted minute hands hole and now it is not sitting tightly on pinion. Second- when you pulled off the minutes hand, you lifted cannon pinion. As the result it is loose and swings freely. I do understand you have no knowledge how the watches are build, so, visit your nearest watch repair shop and ask to fix it. Please, do not take it personally - it is just because you can't do that without watchmakers knowledge, so, save your nerves, time and watch. Rate me, plz.
