Question about HP OfficeJet 4315 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Cartridge Error Has been printing OK Cartridges are new but have been printing for two days OK. Printer stoppped in the middle of a doc with a Cartridge Error problem. Removed and reinstalled the same cartridges but the problem persists. Next attempt will be to replace cartridges with new ones but I hate to buy new if the problem is the printer. Do you have any experience with this problem and can you help.

Try cleaning the circuit and the contacts inside the printer if does not work . then go for new it will work properly. some time the dust on the circuit creates the problem .clean only with a moist tissue.do not let the water drops on the circuit. or the printer will permanently turn off due to short circuit.and fit the cartrige properly after cleaning the circuit of both the printer and the cartridge.

How do I resolve ink system failure 0xc18a0306?


When powered up press the ink button. This should cause the print head to move to the middle the printer and then back. If it parks properly then everything should be fine. However, if it stops against an ink cartridge it's indicating a problem (no ink/ faulty cartridge). So replace it and repeat the process x3 (ie.for the 3 other cartridges). Once complete the printer should be OK. All this should be covered in the HP user manual.

  1. Remove the print cartridges, and close the cartridge carrier lids.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
  4. If the button_power_0.jpg button is not lit, press button_power_0.jpg.
  5. Reinsert the print cartridges.
If the error does not reappear, the problem has been corrected.
If the problem reappears, one of the cartridges is not working properly. Continue with the following procedure to determine which cartridge is not working properly.
  1. Remove the print cartridges, and close the cartridge carrier lids.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
  4. If the button_power_0.jpg button is not lit, press button_power_0.jpg.
  5. Reinsert the black (or photo) print cartridge.
  6. If the error:
    • Reappears, replace the black (or photo) print cartridge with a new one.
    • Does not reappear, reinsert the color print cartridge.
  7. If the error reappears, replace the color print cartridge with a new one.

Canon mp270 error code 5200


Hello and WelcomeError 5200 is a service error. Follow this solution step by step
  1. With the printer turned on,unplug it
  2. Open the top and bring the ink cartridge holder to the middle
  3. Raise the gray bar and remove the print head assembly with the cartridges in it
  4. Lower the gray bar with the head missing and close the top with the head out
  5. Restore the power,wait till the printer starts
  6. It will tell you to put in the cartridges, Put in the cartridge
  7. Restore the print head, close the top and the printer will resume working
Error will be removed.
If you have already tried all of the above and still you have error then it is probably that your Canon printer is in need of servicing by a service professional.
So go to the Canon Service Center. If you want to get support on Call then

I changed the printer cartridges in a hp officejet 4315 and now it won't print-flashing error meesage "Cartridge Error:refer to device documentation to trouble shoot" What do I do? i

print cartridge troubleshooting for hp officejet 4315 :

1. Remove the black print cartridge from the slot on the right. Do not touch the ink nozzles or the copper-colored contacts. check for possible damage to the copper-colored contacts or ink nozzles.
2. Reinsert the print cartridge by sliding it forward into the slot. Then push the print cartridge forward until it clicks into the socket.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the tri-color print cartridge on the left side.
4. If the problem persists, print a self-test report to determine if there is a problem with the print cartridges.
5. If the self test report shows a problem, clean the print cartridges.
6. If the problem persists, clean the copper-colored contacts of the print cartridges.
7. If you are still experiencing problems with printing, determine which print cartridge is experiencing the problem and replace it.

Bland and color cartridges have been refilled but


Ink level counter (program) didn't read actually ink at ink tank. Brand new cartridge ink level counter 100% (full), and ink 100% (about 10 ml). After may printing, ink will dry out, and ink level counter reach zero (ink out). Printer will not allow print anymore, even have refilled, because ink level read "ink out". For canon type, you just to release ink level counter, and counter just stop, but printer will allow to print. Press stop/reset button for about 30 second.

I had the same problem. I called hp and spent an hour running through the troubleshooting things that I'd already done. They ended up sending me a new ink cartridge, and surprisingly, it worked. For some reason, the printer refused to recognize a nearly full ink cartridge. Go figure. It seems to be working for now, but it's a huge waste of ink and money. If you have the patience for it, call hp and see if they will replace your cartridges.

Followed instructions for i860 error5200 and now get a new issue


You will need a new printhead, you only remove to see if that's the problem, wrong or missing cartridge error means the printhead has gone bad.

Remove all the cartridges then back again installed..if the orange light is always blinking.long press the cancel botton til the green light is steady..ok..

Printing message problems


its not an ink problem but a mechanism problem many things can lead to this: say bad film, week rollers and etc so loos the nprinter n make sure all the mechanism are in place.

Contact problems normally result from not pressing hard enough on the top front of the cartridge during their installation.

(Note: Firmly install, but gently)

It is possible that your contact(s) inside the printer are dirty but it is "NOT recommended to touch these contacts as they are delicate and can be easily broken/bent.

If this problem continues to happen with OEM cartridges investigate if the printer is still under warranty and ask for a replacement printer.

If this only happens with third party cartridges, investiagte using an other manufactuers products.
