Hi i can,not log in to my facebook account it keeps on saying account issues

If your wife's Facebook account keeps coming up when you try to log in, you can follow these steps to log into your own account:

1. Log Out: If you're already logged into your wife's account, log out of it. You can usually find the "Log Out" option in the account settings or the drop-down menu.

2. Clear Browser Cookies: Clear your browser's cookies and cache. This will help remove any stored login information.

This may have more to do with your Facebook account than with your MacBook itself. Try signing into Facebook from another computer using your user name and password. If your account is OK, change your password. Go back to your macBook and log in with your news password. I have the problem with my Ipad sometimes. Often Facebook will send you a message apologizing for problems logging in. Try logging in from that message.

Well Gary let me give one little idea. Get a new email and redo the whole account keep you same info and all of it. Some time accounts can get locked up forever and it is a computer code issue. Hope this go around helps you out.

When you say get off facebook, do you mean log out , but keep an account?
If so, go to the upper right corner where it says account, click on it, and then click on Log Out.
If you're wanting to deactivate (delete) your account, then:
- Click on the Account button again in the upper right hand corner - Click on account settings - At the bottom of this page, you will see Deactivate account. Click on this and follow the steps.

Issue: i tried to log in to facebook from my phone and when i enter my info and click ok it only takes me back to home screen and says i need to log in. i tried loggin in on someone else\'s account and it worked. what could it be?

Causes and solution:

1) There are chances that the Facebook Account login account and Passwords has been mistyped.

2) There are also chances of the Facebook password hacked.

Note: I recommend you try logging into the FB account in the Computer and check if it is working.

If not the passwordis hacked and you need to answer the security question then get back the access. DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE THE PASSWORD AS SOON AS YOU LOGIN.

The facebook apps for mobile has some issues regarding authentication but many people don't know what's going on.
Some people fix this issue by re-authenticate their mobile:

1. Log in to your account using computer
2. Go to “Settings”
3. Go to “Mobile”
4. Confirm your phone by sending text message to your account number
5. Try to log in using iPhone/Mobile

You should be able to log in now.
