Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Alt code 9791

Some software won't let you type those characters directly.

You can run "Character Map" to find the desired characters, type the codes into the "Characters to copy:" pane, click the Copy button, paste them to a line within your document, and copy/paste from that string as needed. The System character set has those characters.. they're not shown, but the Alt key combinations display the characters needed.

I was able to paste the character in this post, but I got the message "Please use English characters only" so I had to remove it before I could post.

XPS 210 with XP Media Center has unknown driver in device manager. I think it might be the TV tuner because I get a Decoder error when I try to watch TV in the media center.

Here's something to try. In Device Manager, double-click the unknown device to open its properties. Click the Details tab. In the Property drop-down menu, choose Device Instance ID (or Device Instance Path for Windows Vista/7). You'll see a string of characters in the Value box.
In this string of characters, look for the letters VEN_. The numbers following this are the vender ID. Then look for the letters DEV_. The numbers following this are the device ID.
Go to the PCI Vendor and Device database here:
http://www.pcidatabase.com/
and enter the vendor and device ID for your search. This doesn't always find the right device, but it often does. After you figure out what the device is, you should be able to determine whether you can download the right drivers.

Try this:

Turn key to Program mode
2 SUBTOTAL 132 SUBTOTAL Now type the characters for the first line of the receipt using the alphabet on the edge of the buttons. If someone has removed the letters from the keys, just find the alphbet layout in your manual. 00 (double zero button) CASH (maybe labelled CA/AT) 232 SUBTOTAL Now type characters for second line 00 CASH 332 SUBTOTAL Now type characters for third line 00 CASH 432 SUBTOTAL Now type characters for fourth line 00 CASH SUBTOTAL
NOTE: You might have to do 2 receipt prints in REG mode to see the changes

Cannot find the serial key to the movie box studio instal disc

Hi yellowbret,

Sometimes the serial number is part of lager alpha/numeric character string. When tried to install and it asked you for the serial, look to see how many characters you can type into each text field. Its usually limited to amount of characters in the number. Once you have that information see if any of the numbers you can find match the total character input for the requested serial number. There is a series of numbers that are etched on the back center ring of most cd's, however, I'm not sure what they represent( I bet someone on here knows the answer to that). You may need a magnifying glass to read them. There several on-line serial key finder utilities you can explore. I hoped this helped.

Thank you for using FixYa.com

Sincerely, cyyyd7
