These days remote control are programmed to a particular model/series. If it has been reseted, it means the settings has gone to original factory settings. You have to send it to your local LG air conditioner service shop and ask them to re-programme it. For its not turning on please check if the batteries have been fixed properly i.e. the polarity. Or try with new batteries. Resetting does not affect on/off function.

Remote is working- but unit won't turn on

check your remote control using your camera or cellphone camera as your eyes. Point the remote control transmitter to your camera and "on", light should emit in your remote control transmitter (means good remote). Check for reset or rst button in your remote control and push it to reset and test it in your unit. If wont work means either the receiver board or mean board is defective. You need a qualified tech. for this problem. For the mean time you can use manual button to operate the unit.

A/c remote working but system wont respond

Heya Allhart?

How did you check the remote? Did you check the remote via viewing it on a LCD screen? If the remote is working than you need a new receiver PCB for your air con and would contact Sanyo to see if it is under warranty or for them to get someone out to veiw.

Hope this helps

Only fans work on split system model ls-k2463hl earth breaker trips when compresor tries to start

Does the compressor try to start and the shuts off or is the breaker slamming off as soon as it is turned on. If it takes a few seconds the comp could be locked up and trying to start, high amps and tripping breaker. Tripping breaker right now would indicate a shorted or grounded compressor. Really would need to be ohmed out with a meter to check for ground. Not good either way.
